Faculty of Media Studies, by Alvaro Siza

The Faculty of Media Studies is the place where all the CA academic activities –Open Lectures, Seminars, Dialogues, among others– would take place. It is also the space that hosts the CA Critical Seminars and Subjects. The Building itself is a contemporary architecture master piece designed by Alvaro Siza. The Well-known Portuguese architect Álvaro Siza undertook his second large building in Santiago de Compostela,after building the Centre Galego de Arte Contemporánea. The Faculty of Media Studies is in the North Campus of the University of Compostela. It is really exception the quality and involvement in the design, in which the Portuguese master even defined the pieces of furniture, in an educational building.
